| When people are asked, “Do
you have an obligation to buy future insurance policies or securities from
your present agent/broker?”… the answer is almost always no.
When asked why… the response usually is poor service,
lack of communication, no on-going updates/reviews, etc. … no value
added. When you’re a client with any of our experienced associates,
a “financial partnership” is formed and you will
receive a very high level of personal services … our “value added.”
FINANCIAL PLANS AND SEMI-ANNUAL/ANNUAL UPDATES
We see a comprehensive financial plan (for both
you and your business) as a “road map” for success.
As people’s lives become more complex the need for this “road
map” becomes more necessary. Nobody would begin a drive from San
Francisco to New York without a very detailed road map. This road map
would address certain issues such as road changes, detours, weather conditions,
turnpikes, toll ways, etc.
All of our clients, over their lifetime, are taking this multi-million
dollar drive … with obstacles such as inflation, interest rates,
taxes, safety vs. risk, liquidity, etc. The goal of a financial plan is
to get the proper blend of cash management, insurance coverages, savings
plans, investment options, tax strategies, retirement plans and estate
planning strategies to make this drive as successful as possible. For
many of our clients, the development of this road map is a key to achieving
their financial goals.
REGULARLY SCHEDULED ONGOING REVIEWS
A critical component of client service is ongoing
reviews. As the expression goes, “the only constant … is
change” … interest rates, tax laws, inflation, etc. It is
critical that you and your financial planner have regularly scheduled
ongoing reviews.
PRIVATE CLIENT EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS
Private clients seminars are exactly that …
seminars for our clients only. Many of our associates conduct regular,
ongoing seminars designed to educate our clients on topics such as Charitable
Giving, College Funding, Estate Planning, Employee Benefits, Retirement
Planning, Investment Strategies, Long Term Care, etc. Those seminars are
held in our offices at 500 Ygnacio Valley Road, in Walnut Creek.
CLIENT NEWSLETTERS
When appropriate, newsletters covering such topics
as employee benefits, using professional money managers, estate planning,
cash management, etc. help keep our clients current with what is happening
in today’s rapidly changing world of financial planning.
ACCESS TO EXPERIENCED, CREDENTIALED PROFESSIONALS
As our website clearly communicates, SFG’s
primary strength is a large cadre of professionals … experienced
in every area of insurance and securities, both for personal and business
use. Your planner has unlimited access to these professionals, either for
case design and/or joint work … enabling you to benefit from the full
strength of our firm.
“SUCCESSOR” FINANCIAL PLANNER
SFG is not a “one planner shop.” Your planner is part of a “team” of professionals. If something
were to happen, it will be very easy for another associate/professional
to transition in and oversee your accounts.
